Our third quarter at Ben Franklin is very busy. We kick it off
with a great Red, White and Blue Celebration for the 4th of July.
We always have a great selection of Bunting and Flags to decorate
the outside of your home. For inside your home, we carry candles,
silk flowers and baskets.
Create your own ensemble of patriotic beaded jewelry or select
from our collection. We will have all the beads you need for this
fun and patriotic theme. Don’t forget patriotic sterling
silver charms and lapel pins. These are great for gifts too!
As the days get hotter, beading is a great way to spend your time
indoors. Beading is very relaxing and rewarding. Your completed
project can be worn and enjoyed. Remember when it comes to beads
we have everything you need and a professional staff to tell you

While summer barbecues are stilled stoked up for picnic fun, the
staff at Ben Franklin is getting ready for BACK TO SCHOOL and autumn
leaves. We start our fall transition mid July.
First all the books, pens and pencils are fully stocked according
to our local District 427 school lists. District 427 is comprised
of our four elementary schools: North, Southeast, South Prairie
and West; our Sycamore Middle School and Sycamore High School.
We check these lists twice to make certain your children start
the school year right!
Next we stock all the Sycamore Middle and High School gym uniforms.
We will be ready when you come in to shop. The official uni-sex
uniform is a bright, yellow-gold T-Shirt and black mesh shorts,
both silk screened with the school logo. Sizes stocked are from
Youth Medium to Adult 3X. The mesh shorts are double lined with
an interior draw string to allow for adolescent growth.
Don’t forget our complete selection of educational books.
Your child can brush up on school skills: math, grammar, spelling
and language arts, before school begins. These books are designed
to educate and be fun. They will keep your child busy on those
long summer days.
August can be a very busy time for your family too. Let our salespeople
personally help you with your school list and uniform selection. This

We invite you to our annual SIDEWALK SALE in August. This is our
biggest sale of merchandise all year. You will find the best deals:
50 to 90% off. We carry it out on to the sidewalk in front of our
store and we don’t want to carry it back in. All merchandise
is priced to move!
The SIDEWALK SALE is always held during Sycamore’s good
old fashioned Power and Steam Show in August. Our customers
come from near and far for this event and our SIDEWALK SALE.
September brings cooler days and the leaves start to turn. By
this time our indoor garden begins its transformation too! We love
fall at Ben Franklin. You will too, when you see our amazing collection.
Our fall foliage wreaths, garlands and bushes are the best selection
in the area. Complete your look with grapevine garlands and wreaths,
hay bales and scarecrows. Your home will be completely decked out
for fall.
Lastly our fall linen collection is beautiful. Complete your autumn
decor inside with table runners and dish towels in the fall colors
of gold, orange and even a hint of purple. These linens can be
used all fall, even for your Thanksgiving dinner. We sell out every
year, so stop in early!
