Puzzles are fun for the whole family. One of the best puzzle lines available is Ravensburger and FX Schmid. You can find them both at Ben Franklin. These puzzles feature top quality illustrations and well fitting pieces. The collection includes Thomas the Train, and Simba Toys with Puzzles.

Puzzles range from 20 pieces to 1000 pieces. Our 300 piece puzzles are especially popular with the senior crowd. Don’t forget to pick up a storage mat, so your puzzle can be safely stored until you are ready to work on it again.

For outside, you can’t beat our Kite’s by “Go Fly a Kite”. These kites will not disappoint the new or serious kite flyer. For the young flyer choose Shrek, Mickey Mouse or Cinderella kites. For the older kite flyer you might find a giant butterfly, or a 3-D pirate ship. This year our red, white and blue freedom flyer jet was a big hit!

For warm summer days we have jump ropes, including double Dutch and Chinese ropes.  Bubble wands, sidewalk chalk, bug nets and boxes and binoculars are also in stock.

Activity toys include magnets, tops, gyroscopes, harmonica’s, recorders, microphones, coloring books, slates, scratch art, sand art, latch hook, drawing and painting kits and much more!

Everyone loves our novelty toys: Slinkies, Mr. Potato Head, egg laying chickens, kaldescopes, rubber duckies, Wooly Willy, Hair Bear and airplane gliders.

Our best selling play & pretend novelty toy is our themed magnetic play sets. These sets became popular in the early 1900’s. The “create a scene” board opens up to a theme, for example: Construction Site or Doll House. The magnetic pieces can be moved on the magnetic surface, creating endless combinations. Magnetic play sets are an imaginative quiet time toy. The board folds in half and is stored in a plastic pouch. Only at Ben Franklin!

We also have pullback school buses, airplanes, and police cards. Tiny dolls with accessories, 3-D dinosaurs, horse and insect puzzles.

At Ben Franklin you can find all kinds of card games: Poker, Pinochle, Old Maid, Crazy Eights, War, Go Fish, Uno, Pokeno, Bunco, Apples to Apples, Snorta and Blink. You will also find Yahtzee and L.C.R. dice games.

Our Pine Car Derby section is the best in the area. We always carry the basic car kit and performance car kits. Every year we update our decal selection. We always have the right weights in stock. Last year we expanded our car kits and added complete box sets with paints included. The complete box sets make great gifts!
